PROJECT 915: Wiring-Part 1

This is what you’ll have to expect when you have wiring jobs. Messy cluttered chaos in a jumble muddle. The contractors are knocking down walls basically to re-route plug and wire points. So just be prepared to have your walls hammered down. Well …not the whole wall of course. But trust me, the place is in a big mess. This issue arises when you need your power points to be at custom positions. Like I pointed out earlier, most apartments have power-points at weird corners. So, if you really need to relocate them, Whar-lah! Notice the wiring works for the ceiling are nicely tracked with pvc tubings. That at least looks more professional. But who’s going to see them when the plaster ceilings are up?

How much was the 3pin plug relocation? It cost me Rm50 here in Penang..
RM 50 per plug is among the cheapest people charge you. usually they charge around RM 55 and RM 60 and can go up to RM 80 per plug. Some company may charge you RM 100 per plug but it's already consider expensive by most company.
BTW, your blog is nice, Tangerine. :)
Charlyn, you should get a breakdown, then you will know if you are over charged... I guess RM2K is pretty standard.. my total cost is also RM2K...
Hi Serene Tangerine long live the ceiling fan!! this post says it all. My place is covered with them with one in each room. No air-conditioning for us, recycled pollution thats all it is. I found some great advice from ceiling fan resource sites like Nautical Ceiling Fan, they helped me make decisions on Nautical Ceiling Fan and related stuff.
