PROJECT 915: Wiring-Part 2
Wiring relocation and installation is completed right after the air-con concealing/insulating ended. Basically it’s just wires all over the place, at the ‘desired’ placement that is. Once the plaster ceiling is up, lighting installation will start. The owners are busy sourcing for down-lights and pendant units now. Will update on their venture for 'perfect' economical illumination in the days to come. By the way ... Help! who knows where to get good cheap lightings in KL/PJ besides IKEA?
Total wiring/re-wiring/re-location costs for labor and materials = RM1950 (not including lighting units and switches)

Hmm.. dont think its wise to put aircond ducts above plaster ceiling.. condensation might cause dripping on the ceiling n creating a hole there. Oh, we r neighbours, I'm in Pelangi Apts accross from u.
oh.. btw.. for lightings... go to taman paramount. the shop is opposite Giant(chich was once paramount cinema). Good price. Cheap decent & practical lights and bulbs. :) .... I'm @ www.osmansany.com

speaking of wiring and all, the rooms in the soon-to-be-mine jalil apt only has one point in each. since the plaster ceiling's already done up there, i have no intention of moving or adding points. so now i'm thinking: ceiling light/stand fan combo, or ceiling fan/floor uplights?

Hey Serene Tangerine you said it this post now that rings true. I swear by my homes ceiling fans, talk about sweet cool fresh air beats air conditioning any day!
I found some good deals through ceiling fan and other resource sites. Anyway if people need ceiling fan related stuff they should check it out.
